What started as a passion for fitness and a frustration with the lack of support for mums returning to exercise has become something so much more — a judgment-free space where women show up frazzled, sweat it out for 30 minutes, and leave ready to take on the world.

What inspired you to start a fitness studio?
I love helping people, I love fitness and I don’t think there are enough ways to support Mum’s to return to exercise after kids. I wanted to provide a space where their kids are welcome as well.
What is the most rewarding part of your business?
I see Mum’s come in frazzled and tired but after a 30min session in the gym they feel refreshed and ready to take on the day. A big change to when they first arrived!
What type of classes do you offer?
It is a group fitness concept with instructor led classes. A range of strength, cardio, spin and HIIT to-the-beat. The classes are 30min sessions which makes it suitable for busy Mum’s and works for all fitness levels – it doesn’t take too much time out of your day. We have great music and plenty of social activities as well.
Do you have any advice for people just starting out?
Don’t let the feeling of being overwhelmed stop you from coming in. We welcome whatever shape, fitness level or size. I am a Mum myself and know we often prioritise everything else in our life and don’t take time out for ourselves. There are also no mirrors in the studio and no judgement.

What is something you do everyday without fail?
I try and stay positive. My positive vibe attracts my tribe. I look at this place as a space for Mum’s at home all day with kids to come and be themselves – to be around other women. This place is their happy place so it’s important to provide that upbeat and positive space.
