Here’s her story…
How long have you been in business?
20 years
What inspired you to start this business?
I studied business at uni then first job out was at a bank. Realising this was not conducive to starting a family and the fact I loved people, product and pets, I decided to start my own business, combining these 3 loves. There is also a family history for this line of work as both my Mum and Grandma worked for pet products.
What makes Studio Pets so awesome?
It’s all about family – my Mum, sister and I run the business and our staff are an extension of our family. We are also big on community and customer service is the cornerstone of our business – we love learning about our customers and their pets (& not just superficially!) so we can truly ensure we meet their needs on each visit. Helping people is my ultimate motivator.
What is the most rewarding part of running this business?
Being a part of our customers live’s – pets and kids! I really enjoy coming into work! That’s what tells me I’m heading in the right direction!
Is there a local Bayside business you would love to collaborate with?
I would love to work with @urbanclaystudio on a range of dog bowls a.k.a canine dinnerware!

What is one thing you do every day without fail?
I get a coffee from @blacksquirrelcafe – Ollie brightens my day without even trying!
