How long have you been in business?
5 years
What was your inspiration to start your pet minding business?
It was a decision to change career post having children to provide more flexibility. I was looking after my friends dogs anyway so literally one moment, one night, I made the decision to start it as a business. I have always had a love of animals – my first work experience in Yr10 was at a vet! It also solved the problem of wanting a dog but we were limited with space so it wasn’t an option
What is the best compliment you have received from a customer?
The fact the dogs never want to leave after spending time with me is the best feedback! A shame dogs can’t give Google reviews.
What makes you and your business unique?
The dogs are made to feel a part of my family. A dog even went on a holiday with us!! I also like to send pictures and videos to the owners of our time together – making them feel connected still.
What’s your coffee order and ‘go to’ Bayside cafe?
I am a bit of a coffee hussy, so I don’t have a fave – I like to spread my love around! My order is a coconut mocha.
